
Erum Rabbani
Executive Director
Erum Rabbani is the Head of Premier Diverse Learning Concepts at the Beaconhouse Group. She is an international development and education specialist with over 18 years of experience in programme design, strategic leadership, and inclusive development. Her work focuses on advising on development strategies and fostering impactful partnerships across the education sector.
In the past, Ms Rabbani has led a complex, multi-million dollar Australia Awards programme funded by DFAT. She also provided technical advisory support to GIZ for strengthening gender and disability-inclusive education and health initiatives for Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
She played a key role in the launch of the British Council’s global higher education programme, INSPIRE, in Pakistan, and in establishing DFAT’s South & West Asia Regional Women in Leadership Network. She was instrumental in developing the GEDSI strategy for Australia Awards in South Asia and in managing development and research partnerships between UK and Pakistani higher education institutions, funded by the UK’s Department for International Development and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
Ms Rabbani has worked closely with USAID and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan to design and implement a national financial aid programme in higher education. In addition, she carried out foundational research for the British Council on the scope of transnational education in Pakistan and established a resource centre for peace and conflict resolution in Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
